My father has dementia and his current wife signed to become durable POA, but she is showing signs of dementia. How can I become POA?

If your father has already been diagnosed with dementia, than he cannot legally sign over the POA...he must be of sound mind.
Also, the medical POA should be stay with the person who lives nearest and is directly responsible for his medical care.
