How can I get information about qualifications for Medicare to pay you to stay home with your spouse?

He passed out this week from pneumonia and diabetes. I have heard that there is such a thing as medicare income to stay home with sick spouse or parent? Is that right. If so, how do I get infor about qualifications and the source of the income?
