Pollyjuicegrany,
What is the name of the 'local Day-care in town'. It sounds very good and flexible.

Thank you,

My mother attends a local Day-care in town. They charge approx. $45.00 per day x 5 days (M-F). which includes meals, snacks, activities. transportation.by Van pick-up is ($10.00) per day) Also they provide a bathing service on
M-W-F.($10.00) per day= $30.00 extra per week
I chose the bathing service.and provide a back pack, with towels, washcloth, shampoo and toiletries as well as enough clean clothing for those days .
Daycare has been a life saver, as I work.
This is not covered by Medical, medicare, but a private pay.
For my mom, I pay around $1,020 per month

There are a lot of variables that determine how much adult day care costs: what services do they provide (food, transportation, etc.), and where you live are the two biggest factors. You can call around and compare prices, but the best thing to do is to visit a couple of centers, and see for yourself how the place is run and if the elders seem happy and well cared for.
