My mother is 87-years-old and in pretty good health; however, she complains of pins and needles in her ankles and a general feeling of weakness. What is this?

She sees her doctor regularly and all of her vital signs are good. She doesn't move around much and gets little exercise. Should I push her more to be more physically active?

Exercise is important at any age. They have special programs for seniors.

If she is diabetic, it may be a sign of neuropathy sp?
