Now that my dad has Alzheimer's he doesn't snore anymore. Why?

My dad has Alzheimer's and recently I have noticed that he no longer snores. Any thoughts on this or ideas on why?

That is extremely interesting! I can't imagine why the disease would change snoring, but if anyone else has had this happen, we'd like to hear about it.

There may have been a mediation change - eliminating a medication that caused snoring. Any ideas, readers?

I care for my Dad as my mother has passed away, he is beddriden and now lives with me. He was always a big snorer. My Mom was a heavy smoker. But now he never snores. I think because of the smoke and also he sleeps with his head elivated a little in the hospital bed has helped him? BUt he is doing well.
