I'm my mothers primary caregiver and it's taking a toll on me financially. Is there a way to be paid for taking care of my mother full-time?

EXPERT Carol Bradley Bursack, CDSGF Jul 2010
You aren't likely to get enough to cover full time. However, try going to her state's Web site and looking under some version of "aging services." There you will find local contacts and programs with links to follow. You should find an email address and/or phone number, as well. Calling 2-1-1 in many states can also get you to some services.
Good luck,
Carol
