How to I obtain information on how to receive payment for taking care of sick parent?
My mother just passed and my father almost did too, he had stents put in his heart and has prostate cancer. I'm caring for him but it isn't easy financially. would like a little support financially.
Try going to your state's Web site under "aging services" or their version of such. There should be local contact information as well as a lot of links to follow. Much funding of this sort is locally administered. Good luck, Carol
It depends on the type of insurance he has, if he has state medicade / county insurnace they offer PCA choice which would pay you to help him, but if he has medicare it would need to come from an outside source for the cares.
