My husband 76 has Alzheimer but refuses treatment. He will not see a doctor and he needs medication. What can I do "LEGALLY" to make him go?

EXPERT Carol Bradley Bursack, CDSGF Mar 2010
You can contact your adult social services people. They may be able to do a welfare check on him (and you?). They have some "teeth", if they see a problem, and can hopefully help you.

Can other family members speak to him? With Alz. it is so hard to gauge what he understands and if he can make an informed decision.
I think the more people who understand the situation the better.
