Can my boyfriend be compensated for taking care of my dad during the day while I'm at work?

my dad is 86 and has Alzheimer's and my boyfriend takes care of him during the day when I am at work. Can he be compensated for that?

Jlewiss if your boyfriend is taking care of your dad while you're at work he's a keeper. What a wonderful man he is.

Now just out of curiosity is he asking to be paid or are you worried that he should be paid?
