Maybe this will help.

When I was caring for my mom this past year, there were so many odd behaviors and symptoms that went unrecognized until after she died this past May.

Hindsight is always 20-20, and most everything I learned about elder patients, death and dying, came from this very special hospice nurse.

It's too late for my mom, but hopefully these videos can help people here. (Especially the videos that explain that our elders not eating is just part of the dying process.)

In retrospect, my mom began the dying process roughly 3 years ago when she was still living at home, still of (relatively) sound mind, but her body was failing fast from bladder cancer that didn't respond to treatment..

I just watched one of her videos.
I think ..no I will watch more. She is very comfortable with the subject and that makes it easy for her to relay the information.
Thank you for sharing this.
