I hate to jinx the situation, but I actually think the antibiotics prescribed to Mom for her UTI seem to be helping. For the past day or so, she has seemed a little more "in the moment" and seems more lucid. I know things can turn quickly the other way, but I am enjoying it while I can.
My heartfelt thanks go out to each and every one of you who has taken the time to reply to my original post about Mom spending time in two houses. I found your replies to be thoughtful, compassionate and helpful. I am grateful that I have a place to come for this kind of support.
