If you have Durable/ Health POA you are in control!

Hi, I understand and am experiencing your situation. Inform sib's you are going to pay yourself or professional care givers for 24/7/365 services to mom. If they object, let them know you will contact adult services, or come up with a solution ACCEPTABLE TO YOU. Please follow through, because if you don't they will loose respect/ trust in you, and the situation will continue for ever!!!! Good luck.

Who are you addressing this to, etzabba? POAs do give a person the ability to act as an agent of the grantor. However, the grantor still retains control as long as they are competent. It is really not as simple as all that.
