The Med-Q Pillbox is not loud enough for people who are hard of hearing. The frequency of the tone is terrible for elderly people with hearing loss -- they just don't hear it. I paid $16 in shipping to receive the item and another $6 to send it back, and they refused to refund any of the shipping costs even though the product did not work for us at all.
