Home caregiver worker cooperative / employee-owned company. Anyone have additional info on this?

It just seems like the perfect kind of company for employee ownership.

Has anyone heard of such a thing?

There is a wealth of info online if you just search.

The biggest challenge will be how disagreements among owners is handled and resolved, and power-struggles, as well as the perception of equity among the owners.

There is no such thing as "perfect". If you go into such an endeavor with this misconception you will be in for a world of strerss and trouble. Been there, done that with business partnerships of my own. Watching my son go through it with his business partner now (who is also his best friend). Watched my FIL go through it with his business partner (and "friend") -- and those are examples of only dealing with 1 other person, not a group. The more partners, the more issues you will have. You must seek out an experienced attorney to help develop such an enterprise.

No, I have not, but I'd be interested in learning more.
