Good question. Could be so many things. Meds, something she is thinking about, pain? Even possibly the rally at the end of life. One thing I have found is that day to day everything changes for my mom. Just when I think I have it figured out there is something else !
My mom is 95 and sleeps a great deal too, but will have a day or two a week where she won't nap which is then usually followed by a sleeping beauty day where nothing will wake her
