How do I get transportation for cataract surgery for May 3, 2018 and May 17, 2018 and cost?

Just for ur information. We are a caregiver forum where as caregivers we help each other obtain info and discuss the problems we have caring for loved ones. We are from the US, Canada and the UK.

Try your local Red Cross. Sometime Churches have people who will drive.

Also, be sure to find out what your doctor requires as far as someone staying with you after the surgery. I volunteer with a non-profit that drives seniors to doctors' visits. I believe that some surgeries (and even colonoscopies) require that someone stay with you for a period of time after you go home, to make sure you're OK. We don't do those kinds of drives for that reason.

You should be able to call your local senior center or Area Agency on Aging to find out what transportation agencies and services are available to help. Make sure you know all of the requirements before you call. You may be able to get a reduced taxi fare or use local mass transit with a special pick-up.

Could you tell us a little more please? Is it for yourself or a loved one?  Also may be the state?
