I want to move my mother across country to where I live. How can we transport her?

She is presently in a nursing facility in my hometown. Family is looking in on her but would like to bring her close to me. She needs twenty four hour supervision. How can we transport her? Can she ride on the plane in her state, she can get pretty noisy and she wears diapers? Any help appreciated.

If she does travel by air, it may be a good idea for her to take the first flight of the day, as there are usually no delays on the first flight of the day and the plane is usually always at the gate.

Seattle, would a family member be able to fly with your mom or travel with her in a vehicle? If flying is the only option you may want to contact the airlines to ask your question about traveling. Your mom is blessed to have such a strong support system. I am praying for both of you.
