Glad to know it is the website and not my computer or WiFi, it had me worried for awhile.
I noticed the slow downloading of AgingCare many days ago. I thought I had entered into a time machine and was back in the 1990's where one could go outside and wash their car while information was downloading.
I reported it yesterday; as of last checking my e-mail I hadn't received a response. I do believe though the AC is down to a skeleton staff, so those still here may not have the time or the resources. And it may also be due to Joan Lunden's organization as I believe it maintains a lot of control. That may have something to do with the nominal staffing, as it seems to be.
I am fed up with waiting though. I can visit other sites, but it's annoying and sometimes some threads just won't open.
I find it interesting though how easily commercials and ads park themselves on various pages I visit. Microsoft overdoes that to a point. of annoyance, and to the point that I'm thinking of switching to an Apple.
Has anyone tried reporting this directly to the admins? Try this: AgingCareCM
Don't know how anyone can fix the slow loading if it is caused by Solar Storms. However, I think the slowing is just on AgingCare.com. What do you think?
This is reported by NOAA: G1 (MINOR) AND G2 (MODERATE) GEOMAGNETIC STORM WATCHES published: Thursday, July 21, 2022 22:57 UTCG1 (Minor) geomagnetic storming is likely to continue into 22 Jul due to the effects of -CH01 and -CH02. G2 (Moderate) storming is likely to commence in the early part of 23 Jul with the arrival of the 21 Jul CME. This relatively fast moving CME was the result of C5 flare activity in the vicinity of Region 3060 which then caused an approx. 12 degree long filament that was centered near N15W01 to erupt.

Too annoying and hopefully someone cares enough to fix it.

It took forever for me to get back to this thread.
Dinner for me will be soon, just checking in and trying to support the frustration we all are feeling.
