i am 76 and helping to take care of my brother he is 73. not all carecarers are young. his daughter does limited things bc she has work, a family and is married. there is no one else around to help my brother and his dog. he is very stubborn and at times it's frustrating. i took care of my father as well. i'm hoping i have a place in heaven when the time comes for me. Our plan was to retire to the western country and have fun! That didn't work out and I had to formulate a late-day plan by myself! It would have been better if I had had an inkling of what was to come.

Giving Thanks to Caregivers
I am currently caregiver for my Alz husband and alone on one side of the country while my family and friends reside on the opposite side, thousands of mile away. I have one health aide, but otherwise am on my own. I would so love to forward your article to everyone I know!
