This article is supposing that you have a vast number of friends and family. We have people in our family that are very self centered, and my parents were never much for socializing so no real friends to call on, and the church does not help, so.... most of it is loaded on me.

im very nice to friends and customers and im not very patient with takers..

Something to be aware of is that not all of these people will want or be able to provide this support, at least not to the extent you may need. Remember, these people have their own lives and responsibilities. Don't wear out your welcome with too many demands. Be sure to reciprocate.

I say this as someone who had to break off friendships that were ONLY about the support I could provide for them.
