Wow I didn't realize all the tricks my mom plays are so similar as so many of your experiences. It makes me feel so much better about my care giving skills. Love these posts..Thanks

Really enjoyed reading the categories in the caregivers Olympics. All so deliciously described. Thank you all for bringing a very big smile to my face.

Thank you for this. Only a caregiver will see the humor but so needed and enjoyed the laugh...

How about a medal for how many bruises you get when you try to get a wheelchair into all these doctor offices that do not have an automatic door? It's like being hit with a linebacker.

I absolutely loved reading this. I thought I was the only one who had the problem of getting my 90 year old mother in the shower (exactly how she acts), getting her to eat, and heaven forbid getting her medications into her. Reading this made me realize that my problems are not unique. Thank you for the creative people who put this together.

Wow, this is painful to read and so sad. I hope I get hit by a bus before I would get to this point.

Love the ADL challenges you acknowledge ¬ to be taken for granted :-)...Now how about a team challenge that involves the disengaged siblings being able to volley accolades back to the primary caregiver...Everyone wins...especially mom ...
