My dad has been married 6 times.His current wife this is her first marriage.They have been married for 8 years.He is 72 and she i 62.Dad weighs 300 lbs. and he has had 2 bypass surgeries,an anyresium,a passmaker,diabetes,congestive heartfailure,and a ruptured disc.He just got out of the hospital after 2 weeks with the congestive heart failure, and pnuemonia.My step mother keeps wanting to go out to eat all the time and never cook. They have just put dad on morphine for the reputured disc.How can I get help for me or for them.My dad is supposed to be in his right mind and so is she.2 years ago when I called to check on dad I heard her screamiing at him that did not have to worry about him having a heart attack because she would take a knife an stab him in the heart. I live 100 miles away so I called the police to go out and check on them.After that I was not allowed in there home until now. While he was in the hospital this time She demanded that I apoligize to her for calling the police otherwise I could not come and visit my dad. I did apologize just to make peace and be able to visist dad because his health is so poor I dont kow how much longer he will live.She does not understand or care to understand how important dads diet is.I dont know how to deal with the 2 of them any suggestions?Dad needs to get some weight off before he is totally disabled. The vascular doctor already mentioned amputation of his feet due to the diabetes.What can I do ?
