Sorry to say, but this site has been so depressing for a few days. I thought I'd ask an average, everyday question....to make us all feel a little more normal today.
I made Eggplant Lasagna, and my BIL and SIL are coming for dinner. They leave for Cali tomorrow to see their beautiful grand daughter.
Sorry, sometimes we just need some REGULAR conversation.......or at least THIS caregiver does.
Send, that pizza sounds wonderful.
We ate pizza, mushrooms, spinach, and goat cheese.
Going back for seconds.
& No More tv snacks watching the tennis!
Did hubby eat the soup? It’s fun to try new recipes. How many times do we cook the same thing over and over? I have gotten stuck in a rut before.
(no offence to our posters down under but why is the only lamb available in my supermarket shipped frozen from AUS/NZ when there are flocks right in my neighbourhood?)
On my way out the door in a hurry to pick up dH, I grabbed one to taste, it was the best, tender, juicy, hot, just right. So I turned off the toaster oven, needing to keep them warm until I returned.
They were still good upon returning, but less moist, well-done, but I will never have that perfect lamb chop again.....
Even one small one makes a great smoothie to share.
Cinnamon Rolls
When in Europe, 1971, I started eating yogurt, mmmm. But the best was on the family farm in Norway. Kind of a thick yogurt soup with fresh fruit. Think they made the yogurt on the farm with their own cows. One of the pleasant Norway memories.
I am a label reader too. I am amazed at the people who don’t read the labels. You’re absolutely correct, the texture is different with Siggi’s. I love it.
Sometimes I put a container in with fruit for a smoothie. Or if I want to eat it as a treat I will top it with organic granola and fruit.
The whey is filtered out to make it thicker.
siggi's 0% Plain Yogurt has 3g of sugar, 17g of protein, and just 100 calories whereas Chobani's Plain Greek Yogurt has 4g of sugar, 13g of protein, and 130 calories.
That is some great yogurt. Not a Greek yogurt, (but I thought is was).
