My mother has dementia has been in memory care assisted living. All of a sudden she stopped eating well and drinking much. She ended up in the hospital with the flu and ate almost nothing in the hospital. Now she is in rehab eating less and dropping more weight. She is responsive but weak. Does this look like a hospice case? I think that it may be another stage of dementia but hard to say? Any advice?
