Jordy, in reading more details from your profile I'm hoping you are not putting up with the attitudes of the caregivers. Are you in charge of hiring them? Or does the county provide them? I guess that's a whole other discussion...

If your mom is bedridden and has dementia the first line of defense can possibly be medications to help her depression. This is a discussion with her doctor. Meds do help in most instances. Others on this site with more experience will provide good suggestions. I wish you all the best as you care for your Mom!
