Find Care & Housing
My mother thought I was her husband one day. I was hugging and kissing her on her cheek, and she said I was such a good husband. After that I did not hug and kiss her for a few days. Never happened again. I told her I am her daughter and not her husband. I just could not go with the flow and let her think that.

Nothing you can do. Its part of the disease. She probably recognizes you as someone she should know but not how she knows you. I feel that as the desease progresses they go back in time. So Mom maybe in her teens now. There is no husband no children but there are boyfriends.

This is a desease you have to "go with the flow". My Aunt thought her son was one of her brothers. When he told her he was her son, she told him not possible he was an old man. They don't see themselves as old.

Just go with the flow. Doesn't really matter too much what she thinks your identity is.
