We need a little more information, Gabby.

Do you have lung disease? Are you alone during the day? Does your daughter take care of you in the evening?

It sounds like you would like more help (in the daytime?) but don't know how you could pay for it. Is that correct?

Are you on Medicare? Are you officially Disabled?

I think there will be some help available to you. Give us a little more information and we can help with suggestions about getting that help.

Is your daughter paying rent or paying half the bills for your living arrangements? If not, she should be. That's quick access, 'cause I'm going to assume she's not paying her way. Call your local Council on Aging or whatever they call it in your area. They WILL be able to help you.

Do you have health insurance and if so, do you have a good relationship with your doctor? If so, you might ask him to recommend a hospice service for you. These are not just for people who are on their last breaths. They help you to live at home while keeping you safe and comfortable. My 86 yr old mom has hospice services and they are so, so wonderful, I think things would be more difficult without them. They provide us with all assists such as wheelchair, shower chair, adult panties, medication, a walker, oxygen tank - literally everything an older person may have need of. I believe however, they must receive a doctor's order before they can start their services.

If you are caring for someone ( as your profile says) and they are on Medicaid, then you can get paid for your care giving.
If you own your home, you can get a reverse mortgage, but be aware that if you pass it to any children, they will have to pay back the money you got from the payments.
You can go online to see about any programs you are eligible for: benefits.gov
