At her age, is she suffering from any ailments? disease(s)? Has taking care of her become burdensome? In what way(s)? In case she needs medical attention and care, geriatricians, in particular hardened ones with a proven track record, are the ones to address.
One thing is sure, your mother is one of those few people one can learn much from, especially with regard to experience in life, and lived through, or witnessed unbiased historical evidence. We will all benefit by what she still has to say. Hugs to you both.

I'd say YOU specialize in people that age. And I think you could share so much with others and encourage you to think about that.

Wow - I thought that I'd made a record with my mother turning 104 next month. Your mother takes the prize. I hope she's well.
My mother sees a geriatric specialist, but I must tell you he's nice and we like him, but I could hardly see the difference between him and the walk in clinic we used after Mother's doctor died. Perhaps a an integrative medical practice would serve better - we are about to investigate one here in Atlanta for Mother's care. Her previous doctor (deceased) practiced integrative medicine including acupuncture. He was great.
