Just curious for I think the mil false teeth don't fit her that well n wander if Medicare will help pay for a new set for her? Or, will it even be worth trying to get a new set made if their gums have shrunk n they r n moderate AD. Not sure if she would sit long enough for them to use that stuff they have to do in order to get an impression? Anyone else here can relate? right now, I'm buying foods she can eat without a a lot of chewing involved n Ensures. I just bought a blender too for further down the road for her.

I just went through this with my mom. While Medicare does not pay for dental, I was able to take her in and have a new pad fitted to her dentures to help adjust for the weight loss. This only cost $49.00 and helped immensely. You may have to do this more than once, depending on her weight loss.
