Will IHSS (PA) or another program pay for this?

I am a 63 year old disabled woman. I have someone in mind to care for me. I suffer from Clinical Depression and Anxiety and am unable to be alone. I cannot fully take care of myself. Last year I was in Critical Condition.......I was dying. I was alone and was not able to buy or prepare food for myself. I was thinking about S_ _ _ _ _ E. I have little family and they live far away. I know someone that will care for me but my income from SS isn't enough to pay the Caregiver, pay rent, etc. Others ? Df

You may be a good candidate for Assisted Living, which is covered by Medicaid in some states. If your MD orders in home care, that may be covered by Medicaid waiver. You county office of the aging can help too.
