Scadvice if it's a .com link, they'll strip it out. They'll usually leave non-profit (.org) or government (.gov) links, but any "commercial" link (.com), they'll take out. So your original post probably had a .com link. Hope that helps.

Look's like I may have violated a rule by posting a link. Can anyone enlighten me? I see nothing written.

If you were a bricklayer for 30 years, I assume you were in a union. Have you checked your benefits with the union hall? Most of the skilled trades had pension and disability plans for members.

You can't receive Social Security retirement benefits and disability benefits at the same time. My understanding is that you can convert to Social Security retirement benefits once you reach the full retirement age. Talk to the the Social Security office. If your information came for your local office try the the town next to you. They may be of more help. Being friendly and polite with these people goes a long way also it helps to have an appointment. Try posting on this forum expertlaw and and if you can get a good answer I am not recommending them as I have no past information about the site. If after that you get no results, last resort is you might check with an attorney that specializes in this sort of thing but keep in mind these people work for money so know up front what they charge. Some will give you a half hour for free but most want a set amount to talk.
