Did your husband just recently move into Memory Care? If yes, it is usually recommended that the family not visit him for 2 weeks so that he can get into a routine, get to know his Aides and the nurse, get to know some of the people who live on his floor, etc.
What did Memory Care recommend? Some places allow relatives to telephone so the patient knows they haven't been forgotten, tell the family to make up excuses why they haven't been visiting.
My Dad was in Memory Care and he really loved the place, especially the food :)
