Willamae, do you know how to use Google for research? If so, that's one way of finding a geriatric doctor. In the search line, type in "geriatricians, Jamaica, NY" or "geriatricians, NYC".

If you have a hospital preference, check their website, find the link to search for doctors, and use the same technique. Many hospitals classify their doctors by category, such as pediatrician, geriatrician, orthopedic, etc.

If it's easier, call your preferred hospital and ask if they have a "find a physician" service, then explain what you want.

If you need further instructions, just post again and explain what you need and someone or I can help you. If you do, and if you have a preferred hospital, provide us with the name of that hospital.

William, my best advice would be to select a hospital that you like (Jamaica Hospital has a terrible reputation) and call their information number. Ask if they have geriatrics doctors on staff and get some names that you can then research.

NY Presbyterian Hospital/Queens, which is in Flushing, has a Geriatric Department. That might be a good place to start.
