Where can we find reasonable costs for transport from rehab to Dr. appointments?

When my husband was in Rehab and had to be transported to the doctor’s office, the facility arranged for transport. I don’t remember having to pay for this transportation. I believe it was covered by Medicare since he was a patient in the facility. I spoke with the nurses and they said they would arrange for his transport. Check with the rehab first to see if there is any way they can make the arrangements.

In my area the transit authority transports all disabled individuals at no charge to ANY event after an initial assessment.
