I realize you wanted something with large buttons, but I got my cousin, who has dementia, a portable radio and while her faculties were sufficient she really enjoyed it.

I got her a Sony Stereo Walkman AM/FM radio.(It includes headphones.) It's only about $15.00 American dollars and is very lightweight. It is very easy to operate as it only as on/off and channel changer. The sound is very good.

I think my cousin liked it is because she could take it with her and listen to it in the courtyard at the Assisted Living facility she was at. Or she could take it into the sitting room and enjoy it. And she could listen to it at night at not disturb her roommate. Just an idea.

I ordered hers from Amazon

yet another site with the same radio. Located in England I think, but they ship to Australia. This radio has tuning and volume buttons behind a door on the front, or you can remove them and store them in a compartment on the back. The "one button" name comes from the button on top which is an on-off button.

Well, shoot, when I scrolled all the way down, it said it was not available to ship outside the Uk.

has an assortment of radios. They also have a really good selection of games, toys, fidgets, books, and other items. Be sure you look at their catalog.

They do ship overseas, they request you place your order over the phone. I found this under "Customer Service" on their website.
