She's been diagnosed "Skizophrenic w/Paranoid Features. We've been trying to keep her living in her home (as requested prior to mental illness); but she keep ordering things off tv (she can't afford); lying a lot to anybody that will listen (include Dept of Social Services, Social Workers); bitter, angry, violent at times, and I think she threw her psychiatric meds in the trash...a month ago. She has as of yesterday, called relatives stating that she needs money because she's been declared dead (???); and owes $100,000 to some people (yes, I know how crazy that sounds, but she did it..) Called another relative stating the same but this time it's 200,000 she needs. As her Guardian of Person, my authority is limited to mainly medical care; so I don't think I'm legally allowed to change her address to PO Box (to rid scam mail, which she still give $s), so I can get her mail, but thought maybe I can go to court house and ask them if I can... The judge gave us "Guardian of Person" and not "Guardian of Estate" so we're not reportable to the court, but reportable to SS for her Social Security monthly check (which makes sense). She refuse to go back to the Phychiatrist, or her normal doc office because she's mad that they gave recommendation for her to have guardians. If it's not one thing it's another w/her...I think I'm going to have to sneak in her house to ck her meds, and see if she even still have meds.. She has denounced me as "the nosey daughter in her business" and I'm not allowed in her house (so she say). She has already told peps/relatives I have broken in her house several time (LIE), but maybe I will, but actuallly use my key (lol). I don't know I'm just doing a lot of thinking out loud.... I don't know, is this the time to talk to docs again to see what are our options.. She won't listen to us, maybe they can threaten to put her in hospital or something to get her to let us help her or what... She's stubborn, and seem to be trying to think up diff lies to try to get us in some sort of trouble..even though we're not doing anything to her, but trying to help her.
