My mother has terminal cancer. She just turned 79 and she is all bones. She doesn't want to be in a hospital. She can't keep anything down. I don't know where to turn. Open to any assistance please.

I'm sorry about your mom. I know this is very difficult for you.

Respite is when we take time off from caregiving duties. Sometimes other family members can provide respite for us or there are facilities that provide respite for caregivers as well. If your mom lives with you, you'd probably want your mom to go somewhere else so you can have respite or you can bring someone into the house so you can go somewhere instead.

And like pstegman said, hospice is a wonderful service. Based on what you wrote it's time to call them. You can get a referral to a hospice company from your mom's Dr. or a friend or family member who has used hospice in the past. They will come immediately. That day most likely. Many people find that having hospice provides a sort of respite. They take care of everything. They come to your home. They will arrange someone to come in and bathe your mom, they will provide her with everything she needs (and everything you need as well), they're supportive and attentive and on the ball. I hope you avail yourself of their services. You can't imagine how supportive and proactive they are. I'll bet if you called today you'd have services by the end of the day. That's how they work. You'll speak with a social worker and an RN who will come to your house and the 3 of you will decide what you need and what your mom needs. Then they provide it. They're also there for you and they're very comforting.

Hospice will help with that, bring them in for an evaluation and they will also coordinate respite care so you can have time off.
