My mother suffered 3 strokes. She lost control over her body now. We feed her through g-tube inserted via her nose. It was hard to insert the tube so I am so scared to block it if I inset a bit of not so liquid food.. These days I give her 1 egg and mixed with milk and blended 200cc in the morning then water look like soup 200cc as lunch.. Then I give her 100cc juice as dinner. I give her medication by pressing pills and mix them with water and inject it. My mother can not talk, hardly open one eye.
Any suggestion what should I feed her.. She is with me at home. Thank you.

Find Care & Housing
You need to get help from her doctors about what to feed her. This is a serious question and you need professionals to help you. I can't believe that juice for dinner is sufficient nutrition. What you've listed sounds like it's not enough to keep anyone going - it sounds like about 400 calories at most - that's not enough!

Call her primary care doctor (or the doctor who treated her strokes) and tell him/her you need immediate help on what to feed your mom. And do that TOMORROW!! You need immediate help.

Can't she get the Rx for G-tube formula? The pump is covered by Medicare Part B. Formula would be supplied monthly.

Have you access to baby formula? How about goats milk? Any animal milk with a high fat content would likely help her. Aptamil or Nutrilon are good too.
Aptamil shows 383kcal per 100g

Thanks for your reply I really appreciate it.. We live in Iraq. So the medical care system is different and sadly no one care. Another sad facts doctors are not that well trained here. In summary, I have to do it all by myself. I think I need to use supplements and I am not sure what and to get these supplements will be another battle because they are not available here. Thanks again for your help.

thank you again pamstegma. she has had stroke, I did not think high fat is good for her. now I give her skimmed milk powder (//images.souqmobi/full/94139191.jpg) and mix it with egg and water to make it a shake. The fresh milk here are not really fresh and bad quality milk. I have been living in Canada and I know what is good quality milk is. Thank you again.
