Ok the doctor told me a year and 1/2 ago my mom was at stage 7.. she was still had control of her bowels and urine.. but about 2 she dnt eat or drink much..now she loss control of her bowels and urine..she is seeing things that are not there..sleeps most of the day..she loss 17 pounds in 2 mthszzok so now she is on hospice..so what stage is she really on and could it be stage 7..hospice really dnt go by stages but by what going on..hospice is great love that she is on it..thanks help

Hospice is right. They need to deal with the behaviors they see in your mother, and knowing what "stage" this is would not change anything.

She is on hospice. She is in the final stage of her disease. She will probably die within the next few months (although no one can predict that exactly). Giving a number to the "stage" just isn't relevant.
