Find Care & Housing
I agree totally with the "get Away" advice. I helped my Mom care for my Dad until he died at age ninety last. She transferred her total dependency from him to me and latched onto me like a clinging crying baby.

A friend of mine is a professional caregiver and she said I HAD to get away and do things for myself find things to enjoy. She said "If you do not you WILL BURN OUT and it WILL lead to Elder Abuse.". HARD to turn your life change BUT with the help of this community of caregivers, YOU CAN DO IT!

Get away from her before you become a statistic. Her sole purpose in life is to control every moment of your life. That is abusive and yes it will kill you. Thirty percent of caregivers die before their patients. The next time she has a medical crisis, send 911 to her house and you stay home, you do not drive her anywhere or go to the ER. Tell her to call you when she is in a room.
