What is required for my Mother to get VA Aid and Attendance when she needs it?

My mother receives pension and social security. She's self pay now. She can pay her current care level with her monthly pay. But she will eventually require more care and she will not have enough income to cover a higher level care. My father who is deceased was retired from the military and was a veteran.

You will also need verification of income. I applied for my mother in 2014. The income limit for a surviving spouse with no dependents is $13,563.00 per year.

The facility will be glad to help you apply. Find Dad's discharge papers and their marriage certificate, for starters.
