Mottling is tiny bruise-like marks, usually on legs, then arms. It is a sign of the blood vessels breaking down.
Labored breathing is when the patient inhales with great effort and exhales quickly and breathing is irregular.
If you patient is doing this, I hope you have Hospice with you to help.
