Has he confronted the neighbors? It's VERY common for those with dementia to think people are stealing from them. Sometimes it's the only answer that makes sense to why they can't find their things!

I would let the neighbors know hubby has dementia and thinks people are stealing from him. Should nip any issues in the bud.

The neighbors do know about his dementia, but this particular neighbor doesn't like my husband, especially since he did confront them. They'll be patient to a point, because they do like me.
