I have been caring for my 92 year old mother for 2 years now. She needs help with bathing, caring for her hair, dressing, transportation to doctors visits, grocery shopping, etc., laundry and keeping the home clean. I have been providing these services and was wondering what I need to do to qualify for being considered her home care provider. Any information would be appreciated. Thank you

I think you might need something as simple as a contract between the two of you.

Are you asking how you could be paid? Many of us here on the site are unpaid family home care providers. Unless your mother has money to pay you or she qualifies for this type of assistance through Medicaid or the VA, there isn't a good way to be paid. If your mother pays you, be sure to draw up a contract, as cmag mentioned.
