I was wondering if anyone knows of a web site for finding local pen pals. I'm in Oklahoma (OKC metro area) and I'd love to find someone who is single and about my age (44) who is also a caregiver like myself. I really just want to have someone local to talk to, who has a positive attitude and would possibly, eventually like to do things from time to time as a way of getting away from it all, if only for a short time. My time is very limited but as we all know being a caregiver get's very lonely at times.
Is there a weekly local newspaper? Sometimes such papers have a list of Meetings and they list the medical meeting support groups.
