Will the VA help build a porch for a veteran after hip surgery?

My husband is having hip replacement in January 2017 and we were wondering if we could get assistance on a porch and steps to be accessible for him when he would come home?

A porch, no, but some volunteer organizations will build a ramp for someone in a wheelchair. Be sure hubby goes to rehab to build strength before you bring him home.
