I doubt the more information WOULD be, actually. This is likely our newest drive-by version of "Had hysterectomy but have vaginal bleeding".

I'm 68. My GYN prescribes me a kind of pricey cream called Premarin that counteracts dryness.

Please see your doc to describe what you mean by "discomfort".

I called my vet the other day because my cat has some discharge from his eyes; I expected him to simply refill a script for something he'd given me two years ago. They insisted I come in.

I love and trust this vet; not a money grubber at all. He explained that certain symptoms can be the first sign of some very serious conditions (looked it up on the web and boy, is he right).

The same thing with pain. Pain is a symptom. We aren't qualified to tell you what to do except "call your doc".
