Use a quart/liter of 3% peroxide, a quarter cup (60ml) of baking soda and a teaspoon (5ml) of liquid soap in the wash water basin. It will be foamy, use it while it is still foaming. Be sure you rinse him too. This same mix can be used to launder sheets and clothing, and clean the wheelchair or mattress.

i have tried baby wipes, and he doesn't like colonge, the smell makes him feel ill. i am trying to put some baking soda in the water when i wash him to see if that helps neutralize it.

I suppose you've already tried a manly cologne or body spray? Spray your sheets with lavender before getting into bed. Those are just cover-ups. If he's uncircumcised, make sure all crevices are cleaned. Won't go into more detail unless you need it. Bless your heart for taking this kind of care of a boyfriend.

Same would happen if the smell from the wheelchair seat gets into his clothes and back onto him. Otherwise, try baby wipes on him, they are quick and easy.

cjoesgirl, could it be his wheelchair that smells?.... heat from one's body would bring the smell to the surface of the seat of a wheelchair.

Men leak, as my Dad says. They have little control over it. You just need to wash more often.
