Who's Executor of his will? That's the only one with power. If there's no will, then I'd ask who controls dad's money? Or, if there isn't any dad's money, who's paying. Again, she who has the gold makes the rules.
He had no will and no money he took care of herself she had no power of attorney no caretaker and she did the same thing to my step dad which is his brother she told the Funeral Home and the hospital that she was his only child his wife was divorced I did not notify us of his death or cremation so right there she already filed false documentation and now she is trying to do it with my real father she has no money to pay for it I do in the whole family's up here in Saint Louis I just need to know what legal advice I need or what can I do about it
Your Father is in a good place now... If you can...plant a tree or go to a beautiful place nearby where you can visit him in your heart and soul... Let all the other stuff go...I'm pretty sure he wouldn't want you to fret over all of this...Put a call into the local VA if you are still concerned.
