Transportation to doctor appt?

Call your local Area Agency on Aging and tell them you need transportation. Many counties, including the one I live in, have vans and buses that will transport residents for just a few dollars. We live in Portage County and ours is called PARTA or “Portage County Regional Transit Authority”. Must if not all are also handicap accessible.

I agree with Ahmijoy, but want to add, I worked as a MOA for many years in various offices, we kept a list of local services for transporting patients. Call and ask at your clinic if they have such a list.
